PROPOSITION 98 - The Green Party of California OPPOSES Proposition 98 It uses eminent domain reform to attack government authority to make land use decisions and to eliminate local authority for rent control ordinances. PROPOSITION 99 - The Green Party of California SUPPORTS Proposition 99 It provides honest eminent domain reform to prevent government from taking private property for the profit of other private persons instead of for actual public purposes. It is supported by Sierra Club, local governments, etc.. |

exciting debate took place in San Francisco on January 13 with
five presidential candidates for the Green Party:JARED
BALL, KENT MESPLAY,
CYNTHIA MCKINNEY,
KAT SWIFT, AND JESSE
JOHNSON. (Jared Ball has since thrown his support to Cynthia
McKinney.) Cindy Sheehan helped at the debate. She's running for Congress as an Independent for Nancy Pelosi's seat.
